At Zen Yarn Garden, we hand paint our colourways with the idea that you should be able to easily choose complementary or contrasting colours for your beautiful projects. This year, we have created sets of colors which make it even easier for you to do this - and did you know that even our labels guide you in finding the matching colours with ease? As always, your yarn is hand dyed to order, so you are always receiving specially-made yarn that is perfect for your next project.
OurMagic Dyepot Series includes several different sets of 6 skeins which are dyed in the same colour scheme. You can choose to purchase all 6 colours in a set to create a stunning fade project, or you can choose a subset of those skeins to craft smaller projects. In creating these sets, we tried to put different colours together to create unique and artistic combinations, but also to make it delightfully easy for you to create a project in colourways that you love.
This year, we created our 2018 colourways to include both semisolid and speckled skeins all dyed within similar colour families so you can be sure that they will coordinate and complement one another when used together. We’ve pulled together a few examples below so you can see how it works!

For a while now, we have been creatingdelicious one of a kind (OOAK) skeins using colours similar to our stock colourways. As you browse these OOAK colors, you may notice that each one has a colour that catches the eye - this is a great colour to focus on when creating your own unique combinations.
Another way to create beautiful colour sets is with ourSplatter Skeins. These lovely speckled skeins bring in small pops of colour to your project and are the perfect complement or contrast to our moresemi-solid skeins.
Any of the combinations above can be ordered in larger quantities for big projects, or you can find Zen Yarn Garden yarns at aretailer near you to purchase in smaller quantities.
Finally we have created a few sets of three skeins if you just want to grab a set and get right to knitting! The first of these is ourJazzy Bundle and includes 1 skein each of Jazzy OOAK, Jazzy Splatter and Obsidian. If you’re looking for moody blues and greys, this set is for you.
The second is ourVivid set, which includes 1 skein each of Vivid OOAK, Vivid Splatter and Scallions. We love those pops of bright green!
