Upside down, inside out, doesn’t matter which way you put on this shrug, it’s always right. The cables are reversible! The shrug is knit bottom up (or top down) and seamed at the armholes. The center cable symbolizes the river Amstel which gave the medieval city of Amsterdam its name. The surrounding canals were added later, in the 17th century and form the famous canal district. This beautiful city was my home for 3 years and deserves a design dedicated to it!
