Howard's Tam Kit

Howard's Tam is knit with one skein of Serenity Worsted so it's the perfect kit for a quick knit!

Description: This quick to knit one skein hat is knit in the round from a deep double brim for extra warmth at the ears to a cable pattern that extends through the decreases and into the crown. The pattern is knit in the round on a 16” US 7 circular needle to begin with then the decreases are completed using US 6 DPNs. You will also need a cable needle and 6 stitch markers.

Needles: Size US 7/4.50 mm 16" circular knitting needles, US6/4.00 mm DPNs, or size needed to get gauge

Yarn: 100 grams of Zen Yarn Garden's Serenity Worsted (75% superwash merino/15% cashmere/10% nylon). Total Yardage: 170-175 yards Colourway shown: Black Pearl.

Colourways available: Espresso (dark brown) or Ultra Violet (purple)

Finished Pattern Measurements: 17 inches wide by 8.5 inches (adult).
